This steering kit will complete your trike conversion to become an even better trike than you imagined.  By increasing the rake angle by 6 degrees, we're reducing the trail of the trike.  This increases the leverage the handlebars have to turn.

This steering kit is for those who want an easier steering trike. Like all rake kits what we're doing is decreasing the trail in the front end by increasing the rake by 6 degrees. By doing that your trike acts like it has wider handlebars. In the sense that you have more mechanical advantage at the grips to turn it. These triple trees are made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and then polished to a mirror finish. They do take into account the rake change for the handlebar risers and headlight mount. We even put the steering lock mount on it. They will fit VTX1300 R and S models.
